VOLUNTEER

Each week, The Contra Costa Food Bank feeds over 100,000 of our neighbors – more than 25% of them are children.

Join the Danville – Alamo Community Fruit Gleaning Project and make a difference.

There are many ways you can help and have fun with friends and family – picking fruit is just one of them.

Want to volunteer with Sustainable Danville Area?

Sustainable Danville Area will only thrive through volunteer support within our community!

We invite all residents and businesses in Danville, Alamo, Diablo, Blackhawk and San Ramon to participate in our activities.

You don’t have to be an environmental expert—most of us aren’t.

You simply have to care about people and the planet—and maintaining an Earth that will not only sustain us today, but many generations beyond.

We are not the ‘Green Police’; instead we’re a local group interested in exploring and learning how to live and work sustainably in our community.

We definitely don’t have all the answers, but along the way we have found great resources, made wonderful connections and learned from our mistakes – hopefully making it easier for our neighbors who want to jump aboard.

Sustainable Danville is always looking for volunteers to help with monthly events, online content, and on-going initiatives.

If you want to help our community, and have fun, please tell us a little about yourself and your interests below.  We’ll do our best to contact you promptly.  Thanks for your interest and remember –  Every Choice Counts!
