2013 Earth day student art contest
2013 Mayor’s Award – Miranda Alinson, 10th Grade San Ramon Valley High School
Town of Danville Mayor Newell Arnerich & members of Art Commission had difficulty choosing finalists from over 150 local student entries in the 2013 Sustainable Danville Area Earth Day Student Art Contest.
Inspired by the creative art entries from danville and alamo k-12 students, Mayor arnerich recognized the 17 finalists on Saturday, April 20th at the Town of Danville Village Theatre Art Gallery. all artwork entered in the contest were displayed in the gallery for the 3rd annual Town of Danville Earth day event.
Each finalist was awarded a reusable bag filled with prizes sponsored by central contra costa sanitation authority.
This year’s finalists include:

2nd place – Graydon Young, John Baldwin Elementary
3rd place – Cooper andreosky, john baldwin elementary
1st – 3rd grade
1st place – megan terry, St. Isidore School
2nd place – megan chambliss, st. isidore school
3rd place – lily bowes, st. isidore school
Fourth & fifth grades
1st place – carson hair, greenbrook elementary school
2nd place – evelyn andrade, st. isidore school
3rd place – bella seneester, st. isidore school
sixth – eighth grades
1st place – jasmine steele, st. isidore school
2nd place - Lila Mague, St. Isidore school
3rd place – Shannon Hendricks, St. Isidore school
High School
1st place – Sarah Liao, Monte Vista high school
2nd place – megan duncanson, san ramon valley high school
3rd place – Yunkna Kim, California high school
